Pregnant cat is leaking fluid but not showing signs of labor?

I am house and pet sitting for a woman I go to church with. Her cat is pregnant, and about an hour ago I noticed her bottom was soaked and looks like some mucas is hanging out (yuck). But she doesn't seem to notice it or care. She's jumping on the couch with me, and is now sleeping. She did lick at it a little, but not like I would assume a cat would. I am not a cat owner, so not real sure what I'm doing. I have called, and text the woman who owns the cat. She is on a cruise for a week. so I'm not sure if she has service or not. Is the cat in labor? since she's being so chilled, I am not as stressed as if she was meowing... I do not have any money, or I would take her to the vet. I guess mainly, my question is... since she's acting normal is labor day a while away? I'm hoping she will make it another 4 days till the owner comes home!
