My nail polish wont come off?!?

So i tried removing my blue nail polish off with nail polish remover (yes it has acetone) but it left a faded blue on my nails thats making it really diffucult to remove. I tried soaking my nails for about 15 minutes in the nail polish remover but it barely made anything come off. I've been stuck with the faded blue nails for about 2 weeks. Does anyone have any other methods for me?
