Why isn't there any scientific conformity to the identity of an intelligent designer of the universe?

Science is a small realm of human thought in the grand scheme, and cannot address the existence of a deity, nor does it even try to. There is order in the universe, that much is clear to anyone. Stars move around the center of their galaxy, planets move around the star at the center of their solar system, and moons take orbit around their planets. The mere fact that science works and works so well and so predictably is evidence of the divine.
