Does University of the Pacific Allow Pet Spiders in the Dorms?

I'm leaving for college in the fall, and was looking into a pet I could have in the dorms. I don't like fish, but I knew at the very least the creature would have to be confined to a tank or cage. One of my friends eventually suggested a spider, so I looked into what species I might like, as I was fairly confident I wouldn't want a tarantula. I decided that, should a spider be in the cards, I would want a Daring Jumping Spider. I've looked up care for the species, and it looks feasible, but I haven't been able to find anything that conclusively states whether a pet spider would be allowed in the dorms. Does anyone here know?
