Alright, I am 5 weeks and 1 day today, so I am not very far along, but the doctor has been monitoring my HCG levels since last Thursday due to bleeding. My numbers have risen greatly, and she is very pleased with the rate that they are rising. The bleeding that occured last week completely stopped until last night. For about 20 minutes, I had a reddish-brownish bleeding. It wasn't too heavy, not enough to soak even a panty liner, and it only happened when I wiped. I'll be moving to Austin in September. I've visited there a few times after getting out of college here in Boston. I did some traveling to decide which would be the best place to settle in. There were only a handful of states I didn't go to. For some reason, and I don't know why, but a lot of places I went to, women (and I'm 23) in too many of these places just had very little idea of what class is. Too many places seem to be overrun with females dressing skimpy, talking like they don't have a clue (the word "like" every third word), and very little concept of culture-other than trashy pop culture. The whole Stepford cloning of those big sunglasses, furry boots, and mindless drivel was pretty common. But somehow, and I'm not sure why, but women in Austin (in my age group) were NOTHING like this! They seem to have a solid concept of class! Of course, they're the best looking women I'm sure I'll ever see (the blondes and brunettes down there literally put me in a state of shock!), but I noticed many things other than that. The places they frequented and things they did for example. The Warehouse District was FULL of (as was Town Lake) classy twentysomething, highly educated women who were secure in themselves, not literally walking around with a LOOK AT ME! sign painted on their foreheads. It was as if they were secure in themselves. I enjoyed many topics of conversation with a few educated beauties there, mostly at outdoor restaurants and a few bistros (of which are numerous). Church may play a part in it, as almost all I met were Christians, and maybe UT plays a part as well. They loved working out I noticed, and talking about the arts was big as well. They weren't into this whole conformity cloned thing (big sunglasses, furry boots, dressed scantily) AT ALL! I don't know how you do it, but I've never met more classy, educated females anywhere I've been, and trust me, it's not even close! How diverse they are was SHOCKING! Most places now, so many women are snobby, or plain rude. But there, the women were very friendly to anyone, and extremely open minded. So how do you do it? I'm 25 and work with adults with learning disabilitys for the government. I joined the job 7 years ago after studying an AVCE in Health and Social Care. I have a small fridge in my office. The kind that has the tiny little freezer and then some small shelves in it as well. well im building a guitar and the rosewood bridge isn't sitting flat on the soundboard and i need it to or else it wont have the strength to hold the strings. so my question is can i bend the bridge slightly like 1cm on each side to create a small curve by soaking it in water but instead of heating it clamping it to a peace of wood close to the desired angle. or would it crack. if not will i have to let it dry out for a longtime to make sure that it doesn't try and shrink once its been glued on the soundboard. well i hope someone can answer this but i doubt it.

How can I get water from my sump pump to be used outside the house?

I live in an area with an extremely high water table and my sump pump is constantly pumping out water that is sent right down the drain. I would like to hire a plumber to rig the pump so that the water from the pit could be used for more resourceful purposes outside the house like watering the grass or garden. Is this feasible and would it be costly? How would the system be rigged? very good, but after one read its seems more descriptive of her environment than of her character and when you have to start talking abt her character with "julia was an intuitive girl...." it seems very blunt and in complete contrast to the description of her environment which flows like water. you are very good at description of the surroundings, use that to bring out the character. the character development seems very blocky, merge it with the rest of the text. when u describe the grass or the bushes bring out her thoughts abt how she believes there are secrets hidden behind them, in them/it and how when the wind blew she wanted to follow it to see where it went to see perchance where it began,< this is just a crude example to describe her curious character, her determination, start it off smoothly, ease into the character. ( i hope this helps somehow, i would want to read further)

If it's frozen into flats or cubes you can soak in water and feed with a turkey baster, or cut off small sections with a knife if it's for a single fish. Hikari seems to have the best quality for both freeze dried and frozen, followed by omega one.

I spent a number of years at college studying for animal related qualifications. I then decided that the veterinary field was where my interest lay. Infected bellybutton piercing?

About a month and a half to two months ago, I got my belly button pierced by a friend who happens to be a professional piercer/tattoo artist. I have been cleaning it regularly with soap and noticed it was infected, since then I have been using hydrogen peroxide on the holes, and soaking the jewelry in it too. I have also been washing it in the shower and I do both of these things daily. Yet the holes are still red and do get crusty but comes off easily, however there is still a light yellowish puss coming out from the bottom. I am tempted to take it out because it's becoming a hassle but I heard that you should not take out an infected piercing and let it close up or else the infection will be trapped inside. Okay so I'm 17, and I think I've missed my period. It usually comes around the 23rd, sometimes the 21st or 25th, but now it's the 27th and I'm not even showing signs of it being on the way. MINOR Ingrown toenail?

So I have had this ingrown toenail for about 9 days and I went to the doctors last week and she took a look at it and she said just soak your feet for 15 minutes twice a day and if it hurts so much that you cant walk go to a podiatrist. I didn't really do the soaking this week but i did make sure that it was infection clean and that I was keep my toe clean. Should I thank you for showing intelligent design is not magical if an intelligence of our world repeated it?

I do want to thank atheists and theists alike for providing intellectually honest conclusions to my last question on intelligent design, rather than the same "you don't know anything remarks." My point that I was making is that the origin of life is very very complicated, as evident in the experimentations of science seeking to reproduce it from scratch. And that if science ever reproduced a smaller example of abiogenesis, it would take intelligent design. And if intelligent design on the part of humanity, intelligent design of organisms should not be mocked as magical when compared to random chance. If one believes in random chance rather than an intelligent force(s) to organize the complexities of life, believing there is no intelligence in existence higher than humanity, they can reasonably do so. And if we who see intelligent design in the origins of life, wish to accredit our God, it is just as feasible to do so....in my opinion, more likely; just as it is more likely for science to bring about abiogenesis through controlled experiments than to toss chemicals together and hope for something to arise to life and sustain itself.

Pregnant cat is leaking fluid but not showing signs of labor?

Extending Shingles on Roof?

I had to extend the shingles on the rear of my house yesterday. Water was going behind the gutter and soaking the fascia board (which i believe was leading to a moisture problem in my attic) I did so by following some advice and sliding some aluminum flashing under the last row of shingles extedning them out over the gutter. Im sitting here thinking about it and I think I may have extended them too far, (about 2" out). I ran a hose on the roof for quite some time and got a good flow of water going into the gutter, nothign splashing over. I just wanted to see if 2" was actually too far where it could cause problems, becuase I keep seeing 1/2" to 3/4" as being the normal distance. Well I got both of mine done in mid May, and for a week mine were never swollen until randomly one would swell up so bad for no reason and then go down. But they could be sore because they take what seems like forever to heal. My piercer told me that with any cartilage piercing you should expect that "white" stuff because that means its healing. The blood could be from changing the piercing multiple times, my tragus does the same thing when i accidentally hit it or lay on my side wrong while sleeping. But whatever you do, don't take the piercing out because if it does happen to be infected, it won't be pretty. Just keep doing the warm sea salt soaks and rotate the piercing to make sure you get the sea salt water inside the hole. And also wash with antibacterial soap when in the shower. That seems to help with all piercings. Try to keep your hair away from it and wash it thoroughly to make sure that your shampoo or conditioner doesn't affect the healing process anymore. (:

Ideas Of What My Boyfriend Might Have?

A few weeks ago he went to the doctors because he didn't feel good, they told him he has an ear infection and to take medicine for two weeks and it'll go away (and he'll start feeling better). It's been over two weeks now and he's still not any better. He's made another doctor's appointment for later in the week but I'm just wondering if any of you know/think what he might have. What's hard is that its king size, so I'll need at least 2 large pieces of (ply?) wood. I'm wondering if those two pieces can be joined together and placed onto a base? If so, how big must the base be? One thing I don't want is to have cutouts and slats because it seems complicated and I could just buy that. How do I remove mud (and other substances) from my blue tshirt?

Hi, I went out friday to a club and i had my tshirt there to put over my dress for when it rained. Basically i dropped it on the floor, and this wasn't a clean club. It's known for how disgusting it is but it's the vibe that counts. Anyway, it looks like mud but it could be a number of different things on my tshirt, alcohol, piss, sick even. I washed it in the sink the next day and then soaked it with biological liquid for a night. I then stuck it in the washing machine as usual, it's significantly cleaner but there are still a number of set brownish muddy looking marks that I can't seem to remove?! :( It's a favourite tshirt so i really would appreciate some feedback! That depends on the fish species you are talking about. First off building a lake is a huge undertaking and really can only be practically done by damning a river creating a resevior. There are many potential issues to overcome there, ie relocating people, wildlife, and what do you do about the native fish? Now if you are talking ponds, how to you maintain a large population of fish without having a continuous food supply? If you supply the food, what do you do about the accumulation of wastes. What do the fish eat, other fish? Where do you raise those fish and what do those fish eat or require to breed? It isn't that simple of a problem. Why not just make it rain more in that area so the farmers don't need irrigation? I agree with you that aquaculture is a viable resource for fish production but it isn't always an easy task because different species need different things to survive and breed.

Does University of the Pacific Allow Pet Spiders in the Dorms?

I'm leaving for college in the fall, and was looking into a pet I could have in the dorms. I don't like fish, but I knew at the very least the creature would have to be confined to a tank or cage. One of my friends eventually suggested a spider, so I looked into what species I might like, as I was fairly confident I wouldn't want a tarantula. I decided that, should a spider be in the cards, I would want a Daring Jumping Spider. Noisy lifters after multiple ending head removals can cause clogged oil pump?

At one point on my 2000 Chev Monte Carlo, we discovered a cross threaded spark plug. Mechanic removed enging head to remove, prep hole for net plug hole. Then my lifters were noisy life never before. Take it back, the put new head on, and 6 lifters on the one side. Those lifters were installed 2 days after the head was removed because they had gotten the wrong ones. They had to restart the oil soak time. After thats ordeal was done, it was still noisy. I go back, and get another new head, and 12 new lifters (6 ea. side). That's 3 days of repais, and pick the car up and it's still noisy! Going into the engine that many times, clog the oil pump filter? Can that be why oil is not getting up to the top as how it sounds? If so, they should take care of that on their expense I would hope. Seemed to happen after they had vehicle 5 days from not having the right parts, etc. Thanks in advance! MR

Kuulaire Model KA55 swamp cooler doesn't cool very well. Uses very little water.?

I recently bought a Kuulaire Model KA55 swamp cooler at Lowe's. I like the design and the operation, but it doesn't seem to have much cooling power. When the unit is on and the "Cool" button depressed, the air that it blows out isn't much cooler than the room air. I believe the main problem is that the cooling pad isn't getting very wet. I soaked the pad and took out the grill, and that seemed to help a bit, but not much.. I have the water flow valve set on MAX, and the little holes that allow the water to drop to the pad are clear. The pump seems to be supplying plenty of water to the pool above the pad. Any suggestions?

What can I do about my son's diaper?

I have a 3 month old son and EVERY time I change his diaper it is always soaked on the very top and it gets his clothes wet, this happens mostly at night, I don't know if it is the diapers he is using Luvs, but with every diaper I have used Pampers, huggies, so far huggies is the best that I like, I know my mom told me to tuck his penis down, but it is just so little it will not go any where! I try to push it down when I put his diaper on before I finish putting the rest of the diaper on. I got my Iphone wet, Help!?

Today I accidently dropped my iphone in water, it wasn't for anymore then a second. I saw it drop and picked it up right away. It has a belkin case on it, which doesn't offer much protection. What are these white dots i see?

i have looked around on the internet and have found alot of people claiming to see what i am seeing. they are little very tiny white dots that shoot back and forth. there are alot of them you might be able to see them also if you go outside and look at a blue sky just to get the focus right on them. what i find weird is that they go in and out every quickly but some tend to do circles and some are brighter than others. there is no conformity to them at all. so basically i am wondering what the science behind them are.

Can spilled soap on wood create mold?

I went under my kitchen sink today to grab the liquid dish soap only to find that it had tipped over and spilled onto the floorboards.
